Dr. Curran is a specialist in econometric modelbuilding and constructing information systems used in forecasting, especially those for the macroeconomy and financial markets. At Decision Economics, he manages the estimation and development for the Sinai-Boston Model of the U.S. Economy, with Allen Sinai. He also works in developing high-frequency methods for economic forecasting and is responsible for econometric forecasting of a number of macroeconomic sectors in the U.S. economy.

Prior to joining Decision Economics, Dr. Curran was a Senior Economist for Lehman Brothers and The Boston Company, where he built econometric models and information systems, and regularly contributed to client publications and projects. Before that, Dr. Curran was an economist for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

Dr. Curran holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Virginia and a B.A. in Economics and History from Binghamton University.
